“Mouth is a mirror in which innumerable diagnostic aids lie buried in”
Oral Medicine and Radiology is the specialty that forms the root of dentistry. The primary focus of the Oral Medicine is diagnosis and medical management of complex disorders affecting the mouth and jaws. Radiology is the second part of the specialty which aids in diagnosis. This investigatory procedure plays a vital role in dental practice. In this department students are nurtured to empathetically approach the patient, systematically analyze their problem and give a definitive diagnosis. A proper diagnosis forms the corner stone of an effective treatment plan.
