The Department of Prosthodontics, Crown & Bridge and the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery organized ‘Ensemble – An Interdisciplinary Program for Basal Implant and Titanium Bar Buttress. The guest speaker was Dr. Murugavel, an expert in the field of basal implants who deals with complex full mouth rehabilitation cases. The other dignitaries included Dr. M C Sainath, Dean, Dr. Sharmila Hussain, HOD, Prosthodontics and Dr. Deepak Abraham Pandiyan, HOD, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. The program included a lecture followed by a live demo on basal implants.
